I am an experienced Licesenced Professional Counselor who is dedicated to helping individuals with anxiety, depression, anger, learning and PTSD.
My name is Rhea Lester, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas with over 15 years of experience working as a psychotherapist. I have extensive experience working with children, adults, and teens with a wide range of concerns including trauma, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. I have experience working with other disorders such as ADHD, OCD, and PTSD.
My counseling style is client-centered with a holistic approach treating the cognitive (thoughts) along with the somatic (embodiment) of the person. I am eclectic often using more than one approach to combine approaches that fit your unique needs. I use cognitive-behavioral approaches such as CBT or DBT, SFBT, or trauma-based approaches such as EMDR or IFS. The therapeutic relationship is the most important part when beginning therapy. We will work together every step of the way!
