About me
I am a licensed Marriage & Family therapist who specializes primarily with couples and families cope with relationship problems. I help by teaching communication skills to develop a better understanding of one another. Everyone has problems but how one copes with their issues is a primary way to successful relationships. Happiness and connectivity with one another is our goal and to help with this can contribute to a happier & healthier life together.
I have been working with people for over 15 years having earned a degree in Counseling Psychology from JFK University in Campbell, CA. I have worked with people from all walks of life such as the homeless and from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Working with people with addictions for several years has given me an understanding of the difficulties people have with drugs and alcohol problems. I work with the adult population as well as with couples and families. I use many different ways of helping people including CBT, DBT, Gestalt, Gottman, Client Centered, and Psychodynamic approaches.
