Rechele Mays, LCSW
Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I have been practicing since 2017 and offer a supportive, nonjudgemental space for you to reflect, process, & grow. My approach is strength based, interactive, & collaborative, & I believe that authenticity, respect, & a sense of humor all contribute to a strong therapeutic relationship.
My specialties include LGBTQ+ issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, food issues, ADHD, personality disorders, gender issues, relationships, & life transitions. I typically use an integrative approach, using relevant techniques from CBT, TF-CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing & DBT, based on my client's needs & goals for treatment.
Therapy offers a chance to learn new ways to cope with emotionally charged challenges in life & process those things in life that keep us stuck. In our sessions, I'll help you identify & challenge self-defeating patterns that leave you stuck, unsatisfied, & less than your best. We'll develop a plan based on your needs & what you want out of therapy. I offer a supportive, nonjudgemental space for you to reflect, process, & grow.
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling, joy filled life by asking for help. Taking that first step towards change isn't easy, but if you're ready to take that step & face life's challenges head on, I am here to support & empower you through your journey.
