Rebecca Tveten, LGSW

I am a Licensed Graduate Social Worker who has over 8 years of experience providing mental health services. I currently offer individual telehealth and in-person therapy to adults. I have worked in a variety of settings including a residential treatment center, domestic abuse center, sexual assault center, intermediate care facility and a hospital emergency center. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I also completed my Master of Science in Social Work and I continue my educational journey pursuing my doctorate degree in psychology. I currently practice under the supervision of Melissa Raatz, LICSW.

People often describe me as someone that you can tell genuinely cares about the clients I work with, and I am passionate about others reaching their potential. I am someone who likes to incorporate humor from time to time and has a down to earth approach while also being direct and authentic. I encompass an integrative approach to therapy using evidence-based practices and cultural humility. My goal is not to just see the problem, but to treat the whole person. I believe that healing is a process that begins with each person's unique strengths and abilities. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles and heal from your pain in order to become your best self. I have experience in and specialize in the areas of adoption, anxiety, attachment disorders, depression, intellectual/developmental disabilities, domestic violence survivors, co-occurring disorders, first responder/health worker stress, goal setting, grief and loss, human trafficking and sexual exploitation survivors, infertility, post-traumatic stress disorder, racial identity, and sexual abuse survivors.
