Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I have a unique combination of being an LMHC and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). I work primarily with coaching and supporting parents of children on the autism spectrum as well as counseling teens and young adults diagnosed with ASD. I have over 14 years of experience with this population. I am very dedicated and passionate about providing my services and empowering others.
*ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS*
Parenting can be overwhelming, especially with a child of special needs. My hope is that I can provide clarity and a sense of peace that quiets the chaos and confusion inside, offer tools to empower you, and strengthen your connection with your child. I specialize in counseling parents of children with ASD. I have the unique combination being both a LMHC and BCBA with vast experience training parents on behavior management and using a blended humanistic approach that validates and explores difficult emotions and stressful challenges. In addition to parent support, I provide individual counseling for teens and young adults with ASD.
I utilize an empathic, non-judgmental approach that incorporates aspects of ACT, CBT, and solution-focused therapy. We will discuss self-care, incorporating mindfulness, coping with anxiety and/or depressive symptoms, behavior management skills, and I will give some homework assignments meant to help you practice effective strategies. For teens and young adults I focus on navigating relationships, emotional regulation, increasing self-esteem, executive functioning , and life transitions.
As a parent, I understand how hectic life and the daily grind can be. Together we will find the best treatment package that is feasible with your lifestyle and schedule. I am sensitive to the fact that parenting a child with special needs or being a young adult with ASD can feel isolating at times. I look forward to providing the support and compassion you need to thrive in life.
