About me
I have over a 10 years of practice experience, spent time as a special education teacher and am proud to be a veteran of the United States Army. I am committed to the clients I work with and enjoy creating strong therapeutic alliances and rapport. My humor and warmth have been a great asset in the clinical setting and helps the client feel safe and establish a great deal of trust.
Therapy should be an eclectic mix of modalities based upon what the client is looking for in counseling. I take the time to get to know each client and asks what goals they want to work on throughout therapy for a client centered treatment experience. Each session usually ends with "homework" so a client can put the skills they learn in therapy to use in their every day life. Specialty areas include anxiety, depression, work adjustment, family trauma, PTSD, adult ADD and relationship issues. Rebeca sees adult and teens for individual therapy. Rebeca works with adults and teens through telehealth
