Hello, I am Ray Wagstaff and I m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor based in Salt Lake City, Utah. I like to feel that the therapeutic experience I work in is about others personal growth. I started my career working with individuals who were working on overcoming substance abuse addictions. Working with individuals as they struggle with their emotions is a rewarding journey. I have watched with awe as individuals gain new inner strengths , learning new skills and hopes for their future. As a result of these experiences, I have grown in my own experience and focus of therapeutic practice. During my career I have also worked in the Criminal Justice system in Utah with adults and juveniles. I also have experience in working with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, anger issues, gambling addictions, transitions in life due to aging or dealing with issues of individuals who are in the aging process. I understand that it can beep uncomfortable being asked to share your personal experiences and feelings with someone you have never really met before and those feelings that you will be judged for your feelings. I practice to not judge others for their decisions or choices or for what they feels or think. My goal is to work in assisting you to become whole and able to heal from the concerns you have or feel you have. This will be a safe place for you to talk and heal.
