About me

I am dedicated to helping high achieving folks overcome anxiety, imposter syndrome and never feeling "good enough" so they can discover more joy and connection in their life and relationships.

Clients come to me looking for relief and wanting to get to the root of the anxiety. When I first meet with you, we start by identifying the events from your past and present that are contributing to feelings of anxiety and overwhelm. Then, we work toward uncovering and healing the root of what’s causing the most distress while simultaneously building practical skills and resources that you can start implementing in your life right away. Therapy sessions involve talking, but also include mind and body experiences that help you learn new ways to relate to anxiety and other "big" emotions so you can experience more peace, clarity and confidence in your life.

My training in music therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), yoga, EMDR and other trauma-informed and evidence-based modalities means that I have the expertise you need and deserve when working on healing anxiety and self-doubt. Music, movement, metaphor and imagery as well as other creative methods can make the process of getting to know yourself more accessible and playful. You begin to recognize that perhaps those scary places inside of you aren’t so scary after all and there are also places of great strength, compassion and understanding. Through this process, you learn new ways to relate to your pain, anxiety, and all the other struggles that you’ve been trying so hard to overcome.

But at the end of the day, you want to know you’re working with someone who “gets” you. I get it because I’ve walked this path myself and I’ve journeyed beside many clients who have as well. I know how hard it can be to cut through the noise of anxiety and find relief. So, when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through.

If you're ready to move forward in your life as a less anxious, more self-assured version of yourself, don't hesitate to send me an email to schedule a free 15-minute phone or zoom consultation. You can also learn more about me and my practice by visiting my website.
