I am a clinical psychologist. I trained at Columbia University and earned my Ph.D. there. In my practice, I focus on helping people with anxiety, depression, relationship problems, pandemic stress, or low self-esteem.
I am devoted to helping my clients, and view being a psychotherapist as a profound responsibility. In my work, I am supportive, conscientious, honest, and knowledgeable. I aim to conduct my practice in a caring, respectful, and effective manner.
Becoming a skilled therapist takes many years. I have developed my professional skills by working in a diversity of settings, with a broad range of clients. For the first 28 years of my career, I worked with adults, adolescents, and children, in a variety of outpatient and inpatient settings in New York City. Since 2008, my focus has been on providing individual psychotherapy for adults in a private practice.
I work with people who are experiencing: Anxiety, Depression, Relationship issues, Transition and loss, Low self-esteem, Problems at work, Separation and divorce, Pandemic Stress
