I've earned a special set of credentials that positions me to be an expert in the field of positive behavior change, specializing in anxiety, depression, grief, substance abuse, and coaching.

PH Counseling, LLC is my private practice where I provide both counseling and coaching services. I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Licensed Professional Counselor & Board Qualified Supervisor (LPC-S), Board Certified Telemental Health Provider (BC-TMH), Advanced Certified Autism Specialist (ACAS), Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), Certified Grief Informed Professional (CGP), Certified Additions-Informed Mental Health Professional (CAIMHP), Advanced Certified Autism Specialist (ACAS), Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), and Key Leadership Skills Certified (KLSC). I earned a M.Ed. in Counselor Education and completed the Master level Emotional Disability Endorsement program from the University of Mississippi. I earned a M.S. in Special Education and a BA in Psychology from Mississippi State University. I have a master's level educator's license for the state of Mississippi, with endorsements in the areas of Psychology, Mild/Moderate Disability, Emotional Disability, and Guidance Counseling.

I believe in the importance of nurturing the mind, body, and soul with a positive outlook to wellness and behavior change. My counseling style is person-centered, meaning the needs of the client comes first. A person’s life experience is unique and distinctive and I will approach each client with respect, integrity, and sincerity. With guidance in incorporating the necessary tools and skills, hope can be enhanced and life can be renewed. Therefore, I believe that life is a growth experience with all parts working together to mature a healthy and whole individual.
