I am licensed clinical social worker and the owner of Foothills Mental Health Services in San Andreas, California.

At Foothills Mental Health, you will learn skills to build support systems, process experiences, and plan for challenges in life. Here we believe mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, etc. impact our work, education, relationships, health, and overall wellbeing when we lack the skills and resources to cope with opportunities, and that this is where we can help! We work well with clients who have experienced multiple providers and diagnoses but feel stuck in their goals, who feel like they wrestle with themselves on a daily basis, with both high and low functioning trauma survivors including those with a history of self-harm or suicidal ideation, substance use, etc. who want to develop their understanding of how to cope and thrive in their daily life and relationships.

I am a licensed clinical social worker certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). DBT is an evidence-based practice, and it is my core approach that works well with Motivation Interviewing, Mindfulness, Solution Focused, Humanistic, art therapy, animal assisted psychotherapy, and a variety of other modalities and therapeutic approaches to help you reach your goals in life and healing. I am currently in training towards certification in Internal Family Systems (IFS), which I find to be a key breakthrough for many of my DBT focused clients. I have over seven years experience working with foster youth, homeless families, adoptive families, juvenile justice and child protective system involved families, as well as those with high risk behaviors including exiting residential or inpatient treatment programs, self-harm or suicidal ideation, anger, trauma, or other experiences that impact social and emotional well-being. I welcome collaboration with educational teams, medication providers, nutritionists, and other treatment teams. I do not provide couples counseling, psychiatric medication advice or prescriptions, or court ordered services.
