Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am using telehealth to provide some counseling and supervision of therapists. I am a Washington State Approved Supervisor and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor for LMHCAs and LMFTs who are seeking personalized supervision. I offer a warm, supportive and professional approach that those I have supervised have liked. Your unique career path is supported well as we consider your and your clients' needs.
Hi, I have so enjoyed meeting hundreds, thousands of clients over the years, and each has taught me something as well as me helping them. Some topics have been helping them to overcome a rough time in their life, such as ending a relationship, divorce, remarriage, blending a family, moving to a new community, issues in the workplace. Others have come in specifically about their anxiety or depression, or a recent loss of a loved one. Perhaps there are faith issues you need to work out.
I am a Christian, and I serve people of any faith background.
I have been supervising therapists working on their LMHC or LMFT since 2005, and this is very rewarding work for both parties. I anticipate continuing this for many years to come.
I also provide Critical Incident Stress Management services like CISD or defusing for trauma in the workplace.
When the pandemic ends (hopeful!) I will be available to speak for groups on a variety of subjects.
I am currently only seeking a few private pay clients at this time who are able to pay privately as I do not take insurance. I can give you a Superbill to give to your insurance company though, but reimbursement would be partial is not guaranteed.
I have also worked with couples extensively, and that is my favorite. For 18 years I have used Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), which is very effective and the improvements made are sustained longer than other couples therapies. We work on the cycle you have become trapped in by identifying it, and seeking to change the interactions to positive ones, listening and understanding one another better than ever before. Although there are no guarantees, EFT can bring change in you if not your partner.
I have been a counselor about 30 years. Services to clients have always been warm and personal whether in a clinic or an office or by telehealth. Now, it is all virtual, so I can serve anyone in Washington state. I do not take insurance, and I am available Mondays, Tuesdays, and then Fridays in the morning.
Telehealth is counseling over a video platform. You can remain in your home, access counseling from work or your car even, without having to drive a ways to an office. Clients who never experienced that are pleasantly surprised. Many now say they prefer telehealth.
