Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about working with couples, individuals and parents who struggle with past experiences impacting their ability to live in the present. Common struggles include depression, anxiety and traumatic experiences.
I'm committed to helping clients build healthier relationships with their families, partners, children and friends. Clients say my style is warm and sensitive, ensuring they feel heard while making progress. I focus on developing your techniques to manage emotions in the moment, skills to navigate conflict, and processing negative beliefs that hold you back. Clients often say they feel seen, heard, and validated in their struggles while also developing ways to manage their relationships with more confidence.
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and earned my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2017 from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. I'm also certified in evidence-based parent training program called Adaptive Parenting Tools (ADAPT) based on Parent Management Training Oregon Model (PMTO). I use Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidenced-based trauma treatment for clients seeking evidence based treatments for traumatic experiences. I'm also trained in evidence based couples Gottman therapy and utilize Emotion Focused techniques to help couples understand each other.
I also hold Bachelor Degrees from the University of Wisconsin River Falls in Journalism and Political Science. Therapy is my second career after working as a journalist and in the health insurance industry.
