I am a Clinical Social Worker Associate who provides therapy services to individuals of all ages. I earned my Bachelors in Psychology at Argosy University in 2016, I later earned my Master’s in Social work at Rutgers University in May of 2020, specializing in helping, couples, individuals and Families. My goal as a therapist is to create a warm, welcoming environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. My approach to therapy is rooted in Trauma Informed – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and incorporates aspects of Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused therapy. I believe in helping clients identify and draw on their own individual, unique strengths while giving them the support, validation, and tools they need to reach their goals.

Congratulations on your first step of wanting to transform your life. Therapy can be scary, but it doesn’t have to be. I am here to help you overcome your fear of telling your story while helping you navigate your feelings. By emphasizing transparency and trust with each client, I’ve had great success in creating a safe space to share empathy, a sense of belonging, humor, and, most importantly, effective results. I believe in the importance of addressing one’s challenges by taking into account the whole person, their cultural identity, as well as recent and past life experiences that have led them to seek help. I value using evidence-based and holistic practices that are individualized to the needs of each client.

I use techniques stemming from:

Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT)
Solution-focused brief therapy
Motivational interviewing
Mindfulness
Trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TFCBT)
Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).

I have helped clients overcome drug and alcohol abuse, childhood trauma, depression, domestic violence, poor self-esteem, relationship and family conflict, life stressors, grief and anxiety.

I am highly skilled in working with adults, teens and families facing everyday challenges that are impacting personal and work life, academic success, interpersonal relationships, stress management and overall life satisfaction.

My training ranges from working with individuals, children and families in PHP and IOP programs, and telehealth therapy. It is never too late to achieve your true potential. I welcome you from a place of compassion, non-judgment, empathy, and emotional safety. I am willing to walk alongside you in the therapeutic process.
