About me
Listening is not a chore for me. It is truest quintessence of a therapist. This is very important to me. I will hear you. My clinical style offers a safe & non-judgmental space.
I am an experienced mental health psychotherapist with theoretical & therapeutic specialties in narrative, existential, eclectic, ACT, APT, EFT modalities - among others. In more specific terms, I work with clients suffering through anxiety, grief, depression, anger, ADHD, & Trauma.
I have a depth of therapeutic experience in individual, group, family, & couples' counseling.
I have been in clinical practice for a shade over 11 years. I work with teenagers, adults of all stripes. There is an eclecticism about my work where Spirituality is just as integral as my work from an existential lens. In addition, a growing part of my work delves into the intricacies of divorce, separation, relationship straits, blended families, struggles with adjustments & attachments. As a narrative clinician, giving "language" to internal strife & conflict is a strength in my practice. Even the more complicated experiences around schizophrenia & bipolar disorder are common in my practice.
Working with First Responders, the Military, those returning from theaters of war where PTSD & Internal Partner Violence (IPV) are part of the familial experience - are welcome clients in my practice.
