About me

As a licensed marriage and family therapist, and a certified sex therapist, I help you create transformative and genuine experiences that lead to lasting positive changes in your life and relationships.

A perfect blend of warmth, empathy, and supportive learning is at the heart of my therapeutic approach. My goal is to help you gain the skills and self awareness needed to address your issues and find effective solutions. At times, I'll provide the validation and encouragement you need to see the positives in your life. Other times, I'll offer the accountability and motivation to drive necessary changes. Clients often describe me as "real" in our sessions, and I believe my genuine approach fosters growth. Laughter and connection are central to healing, and our relationship will empower you to create positive, lasting changes outside of therapy, enhancing your overall well-being.

My work is shaped by my interactions with clients, professional training, and teaching experiences at Temple University, Penn State University, and Rutgers University. I am passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families through a solace-oriented approach.

I draw from various therapy models, including Gottman, EFT, IMAGO, IFS, Attachment Theory, Gestalt, and Jungian Therapies, and tailor my techniques to fit your unique needs. In our sessions, I aim to provide visceral experiences of change, and outside of sessions, I may share worksheets, podcasts, books, and articles that can reinforce our work. I believe layering information helps you connect to the changes you seek, leading to meaningful "aha" moments.

As a Certified Sex Therapist and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of experience, I am confident in my ability to support and guide you toward the changes you desire. I hold a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from La Salle University, and a Master's in Education and a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality from Widener University. Together, we can work towards achieving your goals and improving your well-being.
