About me

When people begin to experience trauma or other life stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to feel as if it is unravelling. My great passion is bringing healing and empowering to people who have been through traumatic/bothersome events, who have struggled with addiction, or who are looking for alternative ways to think. I help my clients to find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as peaceful, complete, whole and safe again. I know that no one single approach is the right one for every individual, and so I have been trained in a range of modalities.

My education background includes a MS in Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis on Addition from Walden University from Minneapolis, Minnesota Graduating class of 2015. I completed my Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor license in 2018. I have a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. I graduated with a certificate in Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level 2 from the Institution of Certified Professionals, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from TFCBT.org, and Cognitive Processing Therapy from Strong Star Behavioral Providers.

I am licensed in Wisconsin and Virginia and am accepting new clients. In addition to being licensed I am also registered to be a Clinical Supervisor for both LPC and CSAC.
