About me
I help clients recognize their strengths, gain confidence, and find their voice again. Trauma, (PTSD), Depression and Anxiety are tied together. They affect an individual's moods, thoughts, grief, losses, pattern of thinking, coping mechanisms, fears, safety, self-esteem, confidence, and life. I help my clients, HELP THEMSELVES, by using a blend of proven theories, healthy models, and personal experience, to untangle and compartmentalize their issues. My clients have an opportunity to learn proven, healthy coping mechanisms and healthy behaviors. Treatment for substance abuse-related disorders. Premarital and marriage counseling.
I am a certified trauma, EMDR and substance abuse disorder therapist. I work with individuals that have experienced trauma in their life. Individuals that want to learn how to heal and manage their life through healthy coping mechanisms and healthy behaviors. With the use of EMDR, I help the patient integrate and reinterpret their traumatic memories.
I provide a safe, secure, trusting environment for my clients. I am totally client oriented and always begin the session where the client is. I give my clients total autonomy, unconditional positive regard and respect. I offer my clients four things in therapy: care, unconditional positive regard (no judgement), respect, and advocacy.
