The tools I use include but are note limited to CBT and DBT skills, narrative therapy, psychodynamic, family systems theory and, psychoeducation is a strong goal to empower those I work with to understand what mental health symptoms are impacting them, current theory and research as well as thoughtful interventions and tools to use to manage their mental health and overall wellbeing.
I have extra training and education in many areas. I have been intentional about what I learn based on meeting the needs of the clients I work with.
Some areas from more recent trainings include - Solution Focused Therapy - ADHD (certified) - DBT - CBT - PTSD/CPTSD and Polyvagal Nerve informed therapy - Motivational Interviewing - Trauma Informed Care - Stages of Change
