About me
I am an experienced psychologist who is dedicated to serving a spectrum of difference.
I am a Florida licensed psychologist and a board-certified behavior analyst. I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1995, completed my residency at University of Mississippi Medical Center with special focus in Pediatric Psychology, Women’s Health, and medical issues impacting psychological states and vice versa. My academic training has had a special focus in behavioral and cognitive behavioral methods of evaluation and interventions. Also, I recently trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and basic EMDR therapy to address trauma with adults and youths.
I have over 25 years of experience serving a wide range of issues including: ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, grief and loss, women’s issues through the developmental stages, child/youth management strategies and developmental disabilities, specifically Autism Spectrum Disorder (high functioning, teens, and young adults), Social Skills education and Executive Functioning and Planning Skills. I have worked in a variety of settings including schools, residential facilities, homes, community centers, private clinics, medical and academic clinics including the Mayo clinic, Stanford Research Institute, BayCare, & Univ. of South FL. Now, I am offering my expertise, knowledge and experience to serve those in need of support at my own practice at Pasco Family Psychological Services LLC (PFPS).
