Nancy Lazar, LCSW

I have been in the Social Work profession for 30 years. I am licensed in all 50 states, which allows me to meet with you wherever you are at in the United States, whether that is at home, at work, or while traveling.

My clinical background includes individual, family, and group therapy with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, resiliency, and strength-based approaches as well as Advanced Care Planning, adaptive coping skills, and managing chronic illnesses. What is most important to me with therapy is providing accessible and supportive care, especially during the difficult times that so often come up in life.

My career has been rich in experiences that have developed my clinical knowledge and skills. I have a strong background in mental health, including chronic physical health issues, depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, sleep hygiene, interpersonal relationship issues, grief/loss, and trauma.

I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone for therapy. I utilize a variety of therapeutic strategies, with a supportive, strength-based approach. My life's passion is to help others and my life’s purpose is to be an effective, positive change agent.
