My nursing career began with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of New Mexico, where I developed a solid foundation in healthcare principles and clinical expertise. This early education equipped me to swiftly earn licensure in multiple states, including New Mexico, Ohio, and Virginia, under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact.

Driven by a passion for mental health, I pursued a Master of Science in Nursing at Maryville University, graduating in 2022. Specializing in psychiatric, behavioral care and addiction treatment, my education and subsequent board certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) underscore my commitment to delivering evidence-based care for patients with psychiatric disorders. My professional journey spans diverse healthcare settings, from med-surg nursing to long-term acute care and mental health, where I developed a holistic approach to patient care, emphasizing therapeutic communication and advocacy.
