About me
I am a trauma-informed therapist with some training in the Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) model. I also have experience and interest in trauma, adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and mood disorders. My therapeutic approach focuses on mindfulness-based cognitive therapy with a solution-focused mindset.
My work primarily focuses on adolescents and young adults aged 13 to 40 with concerns related to anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, trauma, and grief and loss. My therapeutic approach focuses on mindfulness-based cognitive therapy with a solution-focused mindset. I have a special interest in working with high school and college-aged individuals who are experiencing difficulties adjusting to new life stressors that come with transitioning into a new stage of life.
I encourage client-led counseling sessions, believing that you are able to enact change when you are vocal in your journey towards growth and most in-tune with yourself. It is my role as a counselor to provide non-judgmental support, help build healthy coping skills, and empower my clients and their families.
