About me
As a Licensed Educational Psychologist and Board Certified Cognitive Specialist, my goal is to support students and their families identify and process exceptionalities, difficulties, and/or traumas that may impede academic success.
As a parent and educator, I understand from many years of experience that caregivers want what is best for their children. I have seen parents work tirelessly to support their child’s academic progress, but know that they are often doing so without enough information to understand what might be impeding their student’s success.
If your child is struggling to reach their full potential at school, or traditional schooling methods are not working for them, there are three levels of evaluation that can help to identify what may be impacting your child’s progress. I can provide an academic-specific assessment (i.e. reading, writing, and/or math) to determine and analyze discrete skill acquisition. If you are interested in discovering if there is an underlying developmental neurological condition. Lastly, a comprehensive psychoeducational evaluation would be most appropriate if you are considering special education. Regardless of evaluation type, I provide personalized, actionable recommendations in a written report; and, I am available for advocacy at meetings, if needed.
