Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
I provide services to youth, adults, and families. I can help with anxiety, depression, women’s issues, academic and work and stress, and life transitions. I have extensive experience working with adolescents, young adults, individuals, and families from many different cultures. My therapeutic belief is grounded in helping my client find their self-determination and their underlying strengths.
I am interested in integrating into my practice, the intersection of the cultural and familial dynamics, the stories of immigration, grief, loss, and self-worth, with a trauma-centered lens. I use EMDR, ACT, CBT, feminist theories, strength-based therapy, and family systems work. I provide service in additional languages of Bengali and Hindi.
My work with you and your child aims to identify the core issues that limit growth, develop acceptance of the self, and work towards understanding the amalgamation of science, literature, arts, and nature and its relationship with us humans and the world in general.
