Family psychologist in private practice for over 40 years and various institutional settings before that. i work with the entire life span, all ages >2. Specialties include marital and couple therapy. Family therapy, Child play therapy, Psychological and neuropsych testing, hypnotherapy. Offer Pet Assisted Therapy (PAT). Most insurers accepted; i accept assignment for goal of service availability. All sessions in person and NO CANCEL, masks and vaccine card required - i will also show you mine. Treatment approach is results oriented and often psycho-educational. This leaves you more free and in control of your emotions, values, decisions and also aware and mindful of them. Therapy is Love, a long continuous conversation about you and for you, in a relationship based on trust, reliability, acceptance and compassion for suffering. i am experienced in most modalities and apply them flexibly to most benefit the patient and your goals. Family theory is utilized to help with the basic human need to fit into a system, to belong while still being fully yourself. The PAT helps to create an atmosphere of affection, welcome, attachment, safety and calm.
