Mindy McCarty is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia, LPC013050. Mindy also holds a substance abuse counselor certificate in Georgia, CADC-II. Mindy McCarty has been a therapist in the counseling field since 2015. She has worked in diverse settings like: a substance abuse treatment facility, an accountability court, a community behavioral health center, and with DFCS and DJJ youth in a community and group home setting. Mrs. McCarty also teaches counseling students at her undergraduate alumni, Point University. She has a heart for helping hurting people through evidence based empowerment modalities, and assisting people to tap into their inner resilience to overcome all types of life challenges. She works from an empathic, non-judgmental model to meet her clients where they are and assisting them to getting to the place they want to be.
