About me
I am a Licensed Psychologist, AAMFT Clinical Fellow, and Life Coach who is dedicated to serving mature females who are going through a life change, be that through loss or choice.
I am currently on Sabbatical and will return to practice in January 2023. Once I return from Sabbatical, my practice will focus on Jungian Psychotherapy with creative approaches.
I have been in practice for 40 + years. Clients come to my practice in order to have competent, caring conversations about the changes that they would like to see in their lives. I utilize a direct, compassionate approach in my my client's change conversations and projects. I am a systemic thinker who values overall well-being for my clients. Many clients come to therapy to make changes in their internal systems such as thoughts, feelings, motivations, and health; others wish to become more effective in how they function in external systems such as family or work. Regardless of the focus of your change project, I am an interested and capable confidant and coach.
We all want to do better, however that is defined, and sometimes we get stuck in thinking and habits that no longer serve our betterment and that causes suffering. It is a privilege to use my understanding and skills to help my clients make the changes they wish to make and to achieve the serenity they desire. I use a strength-based, integrative approach born of 40+ years of solid, evidence-based methodology from many disciplines in psychology and marriage and family therapy. I believe in client's ability to change their lives by incremental life experiments that build sustainable happiness. Expect to be positively challenged!
