Michelle Dunn, LPC
Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I have strong clinical experience in working with adults who have experienced trauma and anxiety.
Do you spend a lot of time thinking about or avoiding the past? Do you experience so much anxiety that it interferes with your life? Many of my clients come to me struggling with trauma, PTSD, anxiety disorders, and related issues. Others are frozen by depression. They may feel shame or guilt about what they’ve been through, or who they are today. I know that feeling can overwhelm you and make it hard just to get out of bed each day. I also know that with the right help, you can feel better. Once my clients are able to make peace with the past, they experience freedom and relief. They can actually start living again.
When you’re ready to get started, I’ll meet you where you’re at. Once you feel safe, we’ll work on understanding and releasing the past. I use specific treatments to help with trauma and anxiety, including EMDR, DBT, and brainspotting. These approaches combine your mind and body experiences, to help you heal from the inside out.
I provide secure teletherapy appointments, so you can relax at home. I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space, where you can be accepted and heard. My goal is to provide you with the tools and resources you need to live a more fulfilled life, finally free from the past. Visit my website or call for a consultation to get started.
