About me
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist - Registered Associate MFT AMFT#142029
I am most comfortable engaging clients who may be familiar with overwhelming sensations about life, in general, or who are unable to manage daily life, relationships, family, academic, and/or work experiences. My goal is to establish and maintain rapport through effective working relationships, offering psychoeducation related to matters affecting life transitions by setting attainable goals that build upon healthy, inclusive, and supportive connections.
My area of specialization is trauma-informed via a strength-based practice for groups, individuals, couples, teens, and military veterans at risk for anxiety, depression, anger, adjustment, relationships, suicidal ideation, substance use, and complex trauma. My therapeutic approach employs treatment modalities which can include Narrative, Motivational Interviewing, Gestalt, CBT, REBT, DBT, and client-centered methodologies offering creative exploration of thoughts and ideas to engage meaningful experiences.
