I am a licensed mental health counselor with 20 years of experience bringing a person-centered and trauma informed approach to my work with individuals seeking to better manage the emotional and behavioral issues resulting from anxiety, depression, past trauma/abuse, and interpersonal conflict. I hold an Ed.M. in counseling psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University.
I believe that each of us has a right to live a full and balanced life. Navigating change, life milestones, relationships, and our inner thoughts, feelings and impulses can be challenging — resulting in stress that negatively impacts our emotional, physical and spiritual health. Through education, support and skill building I can help you better manage the emotional and behavioral issues that interfere with your overall sense of well-being. I would be privileged to assist you with gaining insight into and managing stress, emotional pain, chronic health conditions, interpersonal relationships, anxiety and depression. Psychotherapy and psycho-education are resources that can help you become more effective in creating the life experiences you seek.
