Michele Linden, Clinical Psychologist
Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
My style of psychotherapy is called talk therapy, a process that is designed to help you learn more constructive ways of dealing with life’s problems or issues. It is also a healing and supportive process for dealing with a difficult period in your life or under stress. My techniques are problem solving, solution-focused, and are goal-oriented. At the onset of treatment, together we decide what specific changes you want to make. These are goals that are broken down into smaller, reachable objectives and put into a treatment plan. You have complete control over the treatment plan and its objectives; I work on helping you achieve these objectives. Through simply talking and discussing your problems, I help you find the solutions necessary to navigate difficult areas in life. I also provide psychoeducation so that you may learn about your disorder.
Psychotherapy is usually short-term and time-limited and focuses on those specific goals and objectives that you want to accomplish.
