I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Trauma Therapist with over 10 years of experience with dual disorders, substance use disorders, trauma, and PTSD. I specialize in complex trauma and understand the importance of safety first. My view of trauma isn't that it's a disorder but a wound that needs healing. I feel honored to enter into a helping relationship with my clients.

I believe that as humans, we thrive when we are in rewarding, constructive, and beneficial relationships. I see the counseling relationship as an agreement we enter into together; it is a collaboration where, as a team, we work toward your goal. I believe it takes emotional, mental, and physical safety to promote healing and achieve wellness. I will support you in defining what wellness looks like and means to you and together we will work to achieve that vision. I invite you to allow me to enter your world for a while; together we will explore the hills and valleys of your life.

Some tidbits about me; I have a casual, laidback style. I want people to feel comfortable and relaxed when we meet. My husband and I are native Daytonians, and we love animals. Two of my hobbies are collecting and refurbishing antiques and taking road trips along the back roads of America.
