About me
I am licensed clinical psychologist practicing in Fort Collins, CO. I primarily work with adults and older adolescents and utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help my clients live meaningful lives - even in times of suffering. ACT is a mindfulness-informed evidenced-based cognitive-behavioral treatment that centers you and your values. ACT has been found to be useful with a broad-range of presenting concerns (e.g., trauma, anxiety, depression, etc.). I also tailor my approach to meet the needs of my clients, understanding that healing and growth can happen in many forms.
My approach to therapy is one of compassion, flexibility, and commitment. I only ask of my clients that which I am willing to do myself and I work with clear purpose to dignify the difficult work of therapy.
In holding a safe and trusting relationship, we can attend to suffering and help you to live a life that is meaningful and fulfilling. I hold strong values around social justice and freedom from oppression. I am committed to creating safe spaces that are affirming of all the identities you hold. As such, I believe in creating a collaborative partnership with you. I do this by showing up authentically in our work, sharing the knowledge and education I have acquired, and trusting you as the expert of your experience. I care deeply about this work and I honor the risk it takes to try something new. I am thankful you are here and I look forward to working with you.
