About me
I am an experienced clinical social worker who is dedicated to helping my clients increase their sense of well-being
I believe that we all possess a well of inner-strength, even in the midst of difficulties. I view my role as a therapist as helping you amplify your voice and tap into your strengths in order to increase a sense of balance and well-being. I have worked as a Mental Health Specialist in a school setting for almost two decades and have also provided individual therapy for families and adults in a counseling setting. My experience in school settings has informed my understanding of school-related stressors and parenting challenges. Additional areas of focus include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, changing family dynamics and issues surrounding identity.
I utilize a collaborative approach that engages family members and school or medical team members when appropriate.
