I believe counseling is a collaborative relationship, where I offer guidance to help you reach your goals. Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, adjusting to a recent change in your life, family troubles, or career issues, I can help you work through it in a safe and comfortable environment.
I became a licensed professional counselor because I want to help people who are having a hard time. We all have trouble at some point and could benefit from someone to talk to. I am very passionate about mental health and enjoy getting to know my clients and hear their stories while providing a safe place for people to work through difficulties and meet their mental health goals. I approach every client with unconditional positive regard, genuineness, and empathy which promote a strong and effective therapeutic alliance. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, aspects of Adlerian Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
