About me

Everyone is on a journey to become the best version of themselves, and therapy can be a powerful tool to help guide that process. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or uncertain about starting, I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to make this first step. My goal is to meet you where you are, offering support and compassion as you move toward healing and growth.

I enjoy working with parents of young children, Asian and immigrant families, and individuals experiencing postpartum or perinatal anxiety and depression. I understand the unique challenges that come with life transitions and cultural expectations, especially for immigrant communities. As a Cantonese-speaking therapist, I provide culturally attuned care for those seeking therapy in their preferred language, ensuring that communication feels natural and effective.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy and collaboration. I integrate various modalities to meet your individual needs, including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to reshape negative thinking patterns
Mindfulness practices to foster presence and reduce stress
Psychodynamic techniques to explore deeper emotions and early experiences
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to strengthen emotional regulation and relationship skills
By drawing on these approaches, I tailor each session to align with your unique goals and challenges.

As an Asian-American woman, I understand the stigma that often surrounds mental health in our communities. My aim is to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel comfortable opening up and sharing your story. I am honored to walk with you on this journey and look forward to being a trusted partner in your path toward well-being and fulfillment.
