Melanie Fuentes, Social Worker
Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I enjoy working with clients facing life stressors of anxiety, grief, PTSD, chronic medical illness, trauma and depression. I believe therapy is walking along side a person on their journey, helping them process thoughts and choosing how to respond to life’s challenges. Working with clients to develop a relationship by actively listening, advocating, and assisting in change through therapeutic interventions and by providing a safe space for healing and growth.
I see people from a holistic and strength’s-based perspective with a trauma informed approach. I have experience and training in DBT, Somatic therapies, CBT and grief and bereavement therapies. At The Well Being, we celebrate body positivity and incorporate an optional fitness plan as part of the evidence-based treatment model.
I work with clients to help them find and develop their best self. I will provide a confidential, empathic, and non-judgmental environment. I look forward to meeting you where you are and walking along side you in your journey of healing and growth!
