Meghann Cheney, LMFTA
Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am a couple, family, and individual counselor who is passionate about promoting healthy relationships with self and others.
Whether it is self identity work, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, working through childhood trauma, or myriad of other issues, it can be hard to take the next step, or to even get a sense of what you want that step to be. I focus on offering evidence-based care in a strength-focused and compassion filled space. As we work together, we will focus on discovering and meeting your goals, processing emotions, and building tools for resiliency, empowerment and healing.
I believe therapy should be collaborative, transparent, and rooted in human kindness. My counseling is multicultural, trauma-informed, and takes a systemically focused “Birdseye view” of problem orientation and solutions. I tailor my approaches and interventions to meet your specific needs, and keep you involved in the process every step of the way.
