About me
I enjoy working with many types of clients from many different backgrounds. I welcome you wherever you are in your life journey. I have a special interest in trauma and have experience helping those with depression and anxiety.
My goal as a therapist is to create a warm and accepting environment where clients can explore their concerns and feel understood. I believe that creating a safe place for clients to be vulnerable and trust, leads to a more successful therapeutic experience. We can work together to help you better understand your strengths, feel empowered, and develop goals to live a better life. I take a person-centered, humanistic approach to therapy and use a variety of techniques including CBT, DBT, trauma-informed strategies, attachment theory, positive psychology, and solution focused to fit each client's individualized needs. I am also trained in EMDR and have experience working with those from trauma backgrounds.
At Applied Care Services we also offer a variety of services should you have additional needs. We provide ARMHS as an in-home service, substance use disorder and recovery services, and a work treatment program.
