About me
I am a Health at Every Size, LGBTQ+ supportive, culturally sensitive and trauma informed advocate who sees the value of each person’s individual story and the power that can be harnessed by re-claiming it as your own. I work with a wide variety of individuals, often around issues related to life transitions, compassion fatigue, and emotional eating. Many clients I work with around these core challenges do important work around loss and grief, personal identity, attachment styles, and relationship patterns.
I have spent the majority of my career working with children and families involved in the child welfare system, specifically related to foster care and adoption though have also worked in end-of-life care and bariatric health. These experiences have given me a lifespan perspective that I bring to my therapeutic work and have lead me to always emphasize individual autonomy within my clinical practice.
