About me
I am a client centered, strengths based, and solution focused therapist. I work with adults of all ages across a wide range of issues.
I am a Clarksville native with over 6 years of clinical experience. I work primarily with the topics of grief, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, interpersonal communication skills, parenting issues, major life transitions and self esteem. I am also trained in trauma therapies.
I believe that all of us have the ability to make meaningful change in our lives. I enjoy working with people who have reached the point that they want to move more fully into the person they want to be.
I am an Integrative Therapist trained in ACT, CPT, EMDR, MI, Grief Therapy, and CBT. I frequently use the Enneagram to support increased self awareness and to enhance compassion for others.
I primarily work with adults across the lifespan. In some circumstances I work with couples and adolescents depending on the individual details and if I think I can be a good fit for them.
My goal as a therapist is to support people as they create the life they want to live and move more fully into the person they want to become.
My communication style is grounded in compassion, genuine, honest and thoughtfully direct.
My approach is to first work to help clients identify what they are not happy with. Second, we work to identify what they want things to look like, what their goals are. Third, I work to guide and support them through the change process.
I am happy to work with people from marginalized groups such as the LGBTQ community and those in alternative living situations such as polyamory and open marriages.
If you feel we might be a good fit I encourage you to reach out for a conversation. I am happy to answer and questions and address any concerns you might have.
I love what I do and I love the people I work with. I look forward to speaking with you and seeing if we might be a good fit.
