About me
Hello, I am a clinical counselor with experience helping children, adolescents, and adults learn how to cope with anxiety, anger and trauma.

Maurissa has helped people struggling with anger management issues, communication and relationship issues, and also those struggling with anxiety, depression, neurological disorders, developmental disabilities, and trauma/grief since 2016. She has helped people develop healthier coping skills, increase their self-esteem, and learn how to communicate more effectively. Maurissa has a very person-centered approach meaning that she will work at your pace and on the goals that you feel would be the most beneficial to your life. She also uses CBT, DBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused Theory.
