I am a board certified Psychiatrist, with expertise in treating variety of mental health issues. I specialize in treating complex cases with medical, and neurological co-morbidities.
Mental illnesses are not just about "chemical imbalance in neurotransmitters". These are brain disorders, with structural changes in brain areas, and neural circuits. This makes every patient with mental health issues unique. I have expertise in treating various issues like Anxiety, depression, Bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, Psychotic disorder, and Behavior issues to name a few. I also have a special interest in treating OCD. Most importantly, with me there is a promise in continuity of care and seeing the same psychiatrist at every single visit. At Synergy NeuroPsychiatry, our approach is an integrated one, tailoring to patient’s individual needs and treating them as a whole individual. We coordinate care with Primary Care Physician, Neurology, and therapists.
