I am a counselor, psychotherapist, trainer and consultant serving clients in Texas, focusing on Houston, Bryan/College Station, and Austin. To my work, I bring decades of other professional experience and formal education. I practice under the supervision of Jeanene Smith, MA, LPC-S, LMFT-S .

I provide counseling to individuals, groups, families, couples, platonic relationships, and business/other relationships for persons located in Texas. State laws prevent me from providing services to persons located outside Texas.  I have particular interest in helping persons navigate the impacts of Grief and Loss, LGBTQIA+, Life Transitions, Addiction, Trauma, Suicide, and Spirituality. My only goal is to work myself out of a job so you, in your time and in your way, operate independently in navigating and easing distress. My practice is a judgement-free zone. All persons deserve to be treated and seen with dignity and respect.

I bring a wealth of education and experience into sessions with clients but most importantly, I bring an empathetic, healing, understanding, authentic, and trusting spirit to join you just exactly where you are. Even though I'm those things for certain, I've got incredible wit, humor, and a spirit of directness that masterfully blends into my sessions.

No one knows you like you know you. You are the expert in your life. We will work at a therapeutic and effective pace, but the process is rarely linear. I believe in the irony that to move fast we must go slow and if we try to force quick healing it is rarely effective long term. Reach out for a free 15-minute consultation and let's see how we connect.
