My interest is in providing psychological evaluation to children, adolescents and adults with neurodevelopmental problems that include autism spectrum disorder, neuropsychological, emotional and behavioral problems. Psychotherapy including neurofeedback, somatic, cognitive, behavioral therapy and mindfulness based therapies. Stress management is provided to individuals with psychosomatic challenges
Dr. Mathias Ngwa is a Licensed Psychological Associate with an Independent Practice (LPA), a Diplomate and member of the American Board of School Neuropsychology (ABSNP), Certified Practitioner of Rhythmic Movement Training, IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback Certified Provider (ICP), EMDR, and Interactive Metronome Provider.
He holds a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from the Texas School of Professional Psychology, Argosy University, Dallas Texas. He provides psychological, neuropsychological/school diagnostic testing, bariatric and spinal cord pain stimulation evaluations. His psychotherapy approach incorporates an eclectic mind-body and spiritual orientation.
He sees children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric, learning disability, psychosomatic, neurodevelopmental, other sensorimotor, emotional and behavior problems. Of special interest to him is his provision of psychophysiological treatment with low energy transcranial stimulation neurofeedback for a variety of chronic psychiatric and medical issues that include migraine, traumatic brain injury, headaches, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, insomnia, memory, aggressive behavior, depression, anxiety, PTSD, stroke, epilepsy, fibromyalgia, addiction, work and academic performance.
