About me
I am a licensed therapist with a down-to-earth approach that meets you where you are and gives you what practical tools and guidance to prioritize your mental wellbeing.
My approach to therapy is laid back and informal, as I try not to take myself too seriously. I use my personal experiences with mental health challenges to inform my practice and strengthen our therapeutic relationship. I believe in equipping you with the knowledge and tools to use throughout your life to overcome the many behavioral and emotional challenges life throws at us. I'm in this with you and invested in your growth and personal success.
I incorporate many different approaches based on your unique needs and adjust based on how treatment is progressing. I provide education and guidance on overcoming your challenges and occasionally assign "homework" to maintain progress between sessions. Finally, I offer a space where you can safely discuss anything without shame or embarrassment. I look forward to working with you!
