About me

I am a licensed professional counselor who loves to use Internal Family Systems therapy to help people flourish.

I am passionate about helping individual travel through the ups and downs of life while discovering who they want to be. I believe each person is endowed with dignity and on a journey to discover who they are and their purpose, but sometimes life gets in the way. As a Certified Traumatologist, I learned that for many people, the bad things or trauma in their lives is like putting a mask over their face to see the world. Even though there is so much more to see and experience, their view of the world is skewed- limiting their full potential. With compassion, curiosity and creativity I will walk with you as you learn about your “self” which is where healing takes place. Drawing from my Catholicism, I believe that each person is uniquely created to flourish. For that reason, helping individuals maximize their strengths while tending to their weaknesses in a healthy, dignified manner leads to healing, grow, and happiness.

I utilize Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to meet the needs of the individual in front of me. I am also happy to incorporate your religious or spiritual beliefs into our work. Therapy is not just about a diagnosis or even a theoretical orientation. While these are important, it is the relationship between therapist and client that brings about change. My goal is to meet you where you are at and help you move to where you want to be...or maybe even discover where you want to be.
