About me
I work with couples and adult individuals who are experiencing relational distress or going through life transitions, as well as with adolescents and their families. I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish. I have ample experience and enjoy working with people from different backgrounds.
I believe that everyone has the resources to grow. I guide people to tap into their innate potential to help them find the change they seek by creating a warm and empathic environment to feel safe and supported.
As a therapist, I work from a psychodynamic and attachment-based perspective. I believe that it is important to understand the impact of your past, but only if that helps to heal and to bring change in the present. I strive to provide a warm and safe environment where you can feel seen, heard, and understood.
I am a certified EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) therapist, the only bilingual one in Atlanta. I am a certified Prepare/Enrich Premarital Counselor. I am a Level 3 Gottman-trained therapist, currently pursuing the Gottman certification.
I also have extensive training and broad experience in personality disorders, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, PTSD, LGBTQ+ issues, self-esteem, migration and transitions, multicultural issues, and group therapy.
I am sensitive to and affirming of diverse experiences of race and ethnicity, gender, sexuality, ability, religion, nationality, and social class. In addition to my work as a therapist, I have wide experience in the corporate world, where I worked for many years in different leadership roles in the areas of Human Resources and Market Research, leading local and global teams in Fortune 100 companies.
I am originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I graduated as a Psychotherapist more than three decades ago. I have lived in the United States for twenty years, and I got my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy in Atlanta, Georgia.
I am fully bilingual and offer therapy in both English and Spanish.
