Maria Curameng Teresi is a licensed marriage, family and child therapist, and has worked in mental health and behavioral health since 2001. She works with individuals, couples and families from different ages, genders, experiences and socioeconomic backgrounds effected by trauma. She helps her clients develop healthy and effective strategies to reduce the effects of trauma and enable clients to reach their life goals and live their lives in healthy, productive and effective ways that is unique to her individual clients.
She is certified in both EMDR and Brainspotting, therapies approved by the Department of Defense and the U.S. Veteran's Administration for treating trauma and trauma's effects on the ability to manage stress, anxiety, depression, relationships, mood and work. She also works with students, people going through life changes and people struggling to manage the effects of trauma on their esteem, relationships and reaching their success.
